I completed my trial run of stitching and placed it on a collograph print – I love the way it wraps and winds around the wire and the structure of the shape but i’m not sure how well it sits on the image. It is separate which I like but I think I need to make a new plate to intergrate it better into the image….Deirdre

PPS Number. Machine Stitch & Wire.

Looking at the layers of people passing the window in drawing and stitch.

It is week 6 of my residency here in Kilkenny Arts Centre, time is going so fast but the work is slowly moving along. Thanks to Caroline’s suggestion I have started to cover wire with wool using the button stitch. It is very therapeutic work and as I stitch my mind wonders how to incorporate it into my work…Lots to mull over…Deirdre
