It hit me today that I’m in my third week, time has flown, only three more to go.

The last week and a bit have been great, but also quite frustrating due to having to complete the fashion show pieces. It takes time, so I know I have to be patient and get them right, but there’s also so much I what to do before I leave here!

I’m nearly finished the six pieces which is relief and I can start something new.

At the end of today I did a small installation, it was nice to do something non-practical again, were I could just have a bit of fun!

I’m using similar colours in my work, so I might change my palate tomorrow and use more autumnal colours, change as the seasons change.

I love the work done by artist Marian Bijlenga

Marian Bijlenga

Bijlenga uses horse hair as her medium and develops structures, that may be why she is fascinated by nature and observes in detail the way things grow. Her sources of inspiration can be found in leaves, twigs and branches from plants.
